★ About MMI ★

Built by People Who’ve Walked the Aisles

Market Maps Interactive is a small team that builds websites, vendor directories, and interactive floor maps for indoor markets — swap meets, antique malls, flea markets, event venues. We are not a SaaS company that decided your industry looked interesting. We started here, with one venue, because the operator needed it.

★ The Gap We Set Out to Fill ★

The Incumbent Software Treats Every Venue Like a Consignment Shop

SimpleConsign, Quail, Booth Tracker — built for consignment stores and bolted on to vendor venues afterward. The result asks operators to replace their POS, switch payment processors, and re-onboard hundreds of vendors for features that exist mostly for the software vendor’s convenience.

Listen to actual users describe it

The only thing I dislike about Simple Consign would be that there is not a vendor mall map that connects for floorspace for rental data.

I find it not as user friendly as ConsignPro.

Bulk editing is very difficult. If you want to change a few items, you have to create a report, print out the SKU with the bar codes and use the bar code to scan in the SKU to create an edit list.

Meanwhile, the thing that venue operators actually pay people to do every weekend — help shoppers find a specific booth, help vendors update a stale listing, hand out a paper map at the security desk — is the thing the incumbent software doesn’t do.

That’s the gap we built MMI to fill.

★ Our Origin ★

One Venue · One Owner · One Problem That Wouldn’t Stay Solved

MMI started as an internal tool for a single indoor venue. The operator needed an interactive floor map for shoppers and a vendor portal for 200+ part-time business owners renting booths. The off-the-shelf options either didn’t have those features, didn’t ship for WordPress, or required ripping out the venue’s existing payment system.

We built it instead. Then we kept building, because every problem the operator named — vendor info goes stale, vendors don’t pick up the phone, the map gets reprinted every quarter, the spreadsheet for booth assignments lives on one laptop — was a problem we heard described in industry forums and reviews of every competing product.

Today MMI is in active development, with a roadmap shaped by the venues we talk to most.

★ Our Lane ★

We Sit on Top of Your POS — We Don’t Replace It

Your venue probably already runs Square, Clover, or a payment processor you trust. Ripping that out isn’t on the table. Here’s where we draw the line.

What MMI Doesn’t Do

The dollars stay with your POS

  • Point-of-sale — we don’t ring up customers
  • Payment processing — we don’t touch card data
  • Vendor financing or credit lines
  • Replacing Square, Clover, or whatever you already use
  • Re-onboarding your vendors to a new payment system

What MMI Does Run

The layer above all of that

  • Public website & searchable vendor directory
  • Interactive floor map bound to vendor records
  • Vendor self-service portal for profile updates
  • Operator dashboard — booth assignments, applications, audit log
  • Message board & per-vendor inbox
  • Hosting, security, backups, ongoing support

★ How We Work ★

Sold as a Service — Built for Operators, Not Developers

WordPress plugins on the marketplace ask you to install, configure, debug, host, maintain, and survive every breaking update. We don’t sell that — we sell the same engine bundled, hosted, and supported.

01

We Build It

Your site, your floor plan turned into an interactive map, your vendor list imported. You don’t touch a plugin marketplace.

02

We Host It

Our infrastructure, our updates, our backups. WordPress version changes are our problem, not yours.

03

We Pick Up the Phone

When a customer venue has a question on a Saturday, they email us — not a marketplace plugin support forum.

★ Who Builds & Runs It ★

A Hosting Company First, Venue Software Second

MMI is built and operated by Synergistic Techs — a hosting and WordPress development shop. The same team that keeps your floor map running picks up the phone when something needs attention.

We work on operator-facing software because it’s the work that holds up over years — things that run a venue, not things that promote a venue.

Not VC-backed. No sales team. When you book a discovery call, you talk to one of the people building the system.

★ Currently Building For ★

Three Customer Shapes

Single-venue operators are the bread & butter. Multi-site chains and specialty-leasing portfolios get a different conversation.

Most Common

Single Venues

Independently-owned venues, 100–1,500 booths. Antique centers, indoor swap meets, established flea markets. The fixed-price tier engagement.

Portfolio

Multi-Site Operators

Chains running 3, 6, 15+ venues under shared ownership. One decision deploys the same engine across the portfolio. Enterprise pricing per property.

Specialized

Specialty Leasing

Roll-up groups, specialty-leasing portfolios, mall-within-mall operators. White-glove rollout, per-property customization, dedicated account manager.
